I was born in October of 1970 in a small island called Cebu City in the Philippines. I came to live here in the UK in 1990 when I was 19 years old. I am married to Chris who is two years my senior and we have three beautiful children called Jack, Melodie and Chloe. I also have a son in the Philippines from my previous relationship called Rudy. I gave birth to five children in total but lost my eldest son called Reggie at the age of three to a virus known as meningitis.

I met my husband Chris in 1990 at a factory called Smallshaw Precision Plastics Ltd where we used to work together as production line workers. My husband now works as an electronic and IT engineer as self employed. I have worked in various factory places here in the UK to fit around my children for twelve years and at the same time going to college to better my job prospects in the future.

As I did not finish my education in Philippines, I had to do my A levels and GCSE here in England before I could go to higher education. I waited until my youngest daughter Chloe went in full time education before I started my degree in Podiatry.
